A goofy elf is spreading Christmas cheer in the most magical place on earth – and all over the internet.
Tally Elf took the internet by storm this Christmas season for his over-the-top reaction to whether parkers at Disney’s Magic Kingdom would end up on the bad or good list.
Disney parkgoers often prayed for the energetic cast member — dressed in a festive outfit with bells on his vest and a candy cane ruler — during the “Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party” parade.
Tally would repeat the name of the park in a loud voice before checking once and often twice before giving his verdict in an extravagant showman-style manner.
“Yes, you are here. PEACEFUL!” he yelled as he slammed his comically sized pencil on his whiteboard.
A woman applauded when she found out she was on the bad list.
“Why are you happy about this? You have to collect it,” said the elf before running off in the parade.
The spirit of Christmas would fill Talli’s heart, so he would “cross” the person’s name off the bad list and put it on the good list.
The elf stuff has made the character a viral sensation for Disney fans. The theme park featured the kind-hearted interaction on social media, which has generated over 400,000 views.
“Protect Tally at all costs. He is a national treasure,” said one fan.
“The way this individual portrayed Tally Elf made me so happy!! Christmas just hasn’t felt right for a while, but these videos always seemed to bring the magic back to me,” wrote another.
However, supporters fear that harassment and alleged doxxing by crazed fans will jeopardize Tally’s performances after the actor failed to appear at a recent parade.
“Tally is still in the parade, this specific actor who plays Tally called,” Disney influencer TheFitFlounder said Wednesday, citing sources. “Here lies the problem. Every cast member at Disney is a hard worker and they all deserve to be treated with respect. The dubbing of every cast member at Disney is absolutely abysmal.”
The Post contacted Disney World for comment.
Former Disney employees have confessed that viral social media videos of in-character actors can get the employee in big trouble or even fired if it goes viral.
TikTok user Jill Beignet claims that character performers have been terminated because they did something “cute or fun” in a video, but a manager didn’t like it.
The former employee shared that a Peter Pan actor was fired because of too many viral videos of him pranking people.
“If you’re causing problems for the company in any way, it’s just not worth it,” Beignet explained.
