Pornhub reveals top searches for 2024 – and this ‘less complicated’ jam is now popular

Hentai, your falcon and tradwives — oh my.

Pornhub is pulling back the covers on X-rated viewing habits around the world, revealing its most popular search terms for 2024, including a nod called “less complicated” by one expert.

The company released the dirty data on Tuesday, revealing that “hentai” was the most searched word on the planet, ahead of “MILF”, “lesbian” and “anal”.

Hentai – a type of Japanese anime characterized by explicit characters and plots – proved particularly popular in the US, taking the top spot for the first time.

But it seems that Americans in love aren’t the only ones waking up to the weird cartoon category, which was also the most searched term in Brazil and war-torn Ukraine.

“MILF”, meanwhile, was the most popular search term in a host of other naughty nations, including the UK, Canada and Spain.

Elsewhere, Pornhub also saw an increase in searches for “tradwives”, which were up 72% worldwide.

“Tradeswoman” short for “traditional woman” refers to a woman who has proudly eschewed a career in favor of domestic duties such as cooking, cleaning, and raising children.

Such women, who are typically subdued and aim to satisfy their spouse’s every whim, have gained in growth popularity in mainstream discourse thanks to TikTok videos about the phenomenon.

The rise in searches for businesswomen interestingly coincided with a spike in interest in videos dealing with all things “humble”, which jumped 133% in the wake of another viral TikTok about being “humble and conscious”.

Meanwhile, searches for “modest” increased by 77%, while the term “modest milf” increased by 45%.

Dr. Laurie Betito, who serves as director of Pornhub’s Sexual Wellness Center, said of the trend: “It seems like people may be rushing for a simpler time — looking for things that are less complicated and maybe looking for more meaningful things.”

However, “falcon tuah” – a clear term associated with a sexual act that is not at all submissive, conscious or modest – also showed no significant benefits in research.

The onomatopoeic word was popularized by Hayley Welch during an interview on the streets of Nashville earlier this year.

Elsewhere, Pornhub also revealed that Aussie Angela White was the world’s most searched porn star, followed by Abella Danger and Violet Myers.

Meanwhile, the strange data also revealed that women can enjoy watching gay porn.

Dom King gay porn was viewed 468% more by women than by men.

Alex Mecum and Diego Sans, who also produce same-sex porn, were similarly much more popular with members of the fairer sex.
